Chemistry platform

The analytical chemistry platform provides a range of state-of-the-art equipment allowing the identification and quantification of a large number of natural or xenobiotic substances. This analytical equipment is particularly extensive in the fields of chromatography and mass spectrometry, and is complemented by a chemistry laboratory dedicated to the preparation of samples from matrices of varying degrees of complexity, such as water, soils, plants or food products.

The platform's ensemble of instruments enables it to extend its activities to a vast range of analyses such as natural and anthropic compounds (major anions and cations, phosphates, nitrates, heavy metals, rare earths elements, etc.), organic pollutants (pesticides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, polychlorobiphenyls, antibiotics, steroids, etc.), or natural molecules (pigments, carbohydrates, polyols, polyamines, phenolic compounds, vitamins, etc.).

These analyses can be performed within the scope of the department's research projects, with outside partners, or as services.
