General presentation

Founded in 1988 to give commercial companies and the public sector in Luxembourg a scientific partner that is skilled in computer science, ISC now has much experience of collaboration with the Luxembourgian world.

 

In nearly twenty years, the main assets of the Department consist in the expertise accumulated in terms of design, modelling, documentation, development, evaluation and auditing of information systems.

 

Its work is halfway between fundamental research and industrial research. Firstly, the Department is reputed in the academic world for its publications, its participation in scientific working groups, and its hosting of trainees or doctoral students. Secondly, the results it has achieved in research and development projects with private and public partners has also given ISC a good image in the financial world.

 

At the present time, ISC is preparing to undertake new projects with new partners.
